Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of application
   These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, reservations and stays at Chalet Hotel*** Garni Zimmermann that are made directly via the website, by email, by telephone or in person.
2. Conclusion of contract
   An accommodation contract is concluded upon confirmation of the booking by the hotel. By making a booking, the guest accepts these Terms and Conditions.
3. Prices and local tax
   All prices stated are in euros.
   Unless otherwise stated, prices apply per room or accommodation unit and stay according to the booking confirmation.
   The local tax is EUR 5.00 per person and night from the age of 16, unless otherwise provided by law.
4. Deposit and payment terms
   A deposit of 30% of the booking amount is required on the day of booking.
   The accommodation will contact the guest after receipt of the booking regarding the payment arrangements.
   Payment by bank transfer before arrival is required. The relevant bank details will be provided to the guest after booking.
   Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance is due on site or in accordance with the booking confirmation.
5. Arrival and departure
   The guest is kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance of their expected arrival time. This can be done in the special requests field when booking or directly with the accommodation.
   Check-in and check-out are subject to the times announced by the hotel.
   In the event of late arrival, timely notification is requested.
6. Withdrawal / cancellation by the guest
   Cancellations must be made in writing or by verifiable electronic notification.
   The deposit paid is refundable in accordance with the booking agreement, unless different cancellation conditions have been expressly agreed.
   The individual booking confirmation shall always be decisive.
7. Non-arrival / no-show / early departure
   If the guest does not arrive on the agreed arrival date and no timely notification is given, the hotel may treat the booking as a no-show in accordance with the agreed conditions.
   In the event of early departure, there is no automatic entitlement to a refund for unused nights, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Use of rooms and accommodation units
   Booked rooms, apartments or chalets may only be used by the number of persons stated in the booking.
   Transfer or subletting to third parties is not permitted.
9. Non-smoking policy
   All rooms and indoor areas of the hotel are non-smoking areas, unless expressly marked otherwise.
   In the event of violations, an appropriate special cleaning fee may be charged.
10. Parking spaces
    Free parking spaces are available to guests directly at the accommodation.
    There is no entitlement to a specific parking space.
    Use of the parking spaces is at the guest’s own risk, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Wellness and fitness area
    The fitness room as well as the sauna and relaxation room are available to guests in accordance with the house rules and opening hours.
    Use is at the guest’s own responsibility.
    Parents are liable for their children.
12. E-bike rental
    If the hotel provides e-bikes, their use is at the guest’s own risk.
    The guest is liable for any damage caused by improper use, loss or late return.
    Further details regarding prices, availability and use will be announced directly by the hotel.
13. Liability
    The guest is liable for any damage caused by them to rooms, furnishings, hotel areas or items made available.
    Complaints must be reported to the hotel immediately so that, where possible, remedial action can be taken.
14. Data protection
    Personal data is processed within the framework of the statutory provisions.
    The hotel’s privacy policy, as amended from time to time, shall also apply.
15. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
    Austrian law applies.
    To the extent permitted by law, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction at the registered office of the hotel shall be the place of jurisdiction.
16. Final provisions
    Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
